Keto Cranberry Sauce

Serves 16


Cranberry sauce is traditionally mostly sugar and very little actual berries, but our version with fresh cranberries has added fat to help you stay in ketosis without having to give up your favorite holiday flavors.


Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 15 minutes



 8 ounces of fresh cranberries

½ cup of water

4 tablespoons ghee or butter

1 teaspoon of sea salt

1 tablespoon ground pumpkin pie spice

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Zest from ½ lemon

2 tablespoons fresh orange juice

Juice from ½ orange

3 tablespoons of Swerve sugar replacement



 Bring cranberries and water to a simmer on the stovetop in a small saucepan.

 Add remaining ingredients and continue to simmer until the berries have broken down and a thick syrup has formed.

 Remove from the heat and serve with a spring of optional parsley.

 Store any leftovers in the fridge in a glass container for up to a week.
